In the novel, that b*tch Sienna really does think that since she was born from the younger brother of the count that that is why she is living like that. She believes that Selena got lucky by being born to her father, Count Estarion.
Sienna really believes there is no difference between her and Selena. That’s probably one of the reasons she was so malicious and entitled.
Actually, a lot of Sienna’s problems stem from her evil mother and her bad personality but she doesn’t ever seem to realise that.
