Not gonna lie, I wasn’t expecting this at all! I haven’t read anything, but my guess is that the author who, clearly from his understanding of “Love” and how you’d want to do and serve and be obsessed with someone, he’s obsessed with Lizzie/Rize. And so, my guess is he’s using this system to sacrifice Ediths and keep his Lizzie young and the main focus of this story. He’s got some kind of demonic contract going that he’s fixating on sacrificing Ediths to fill his obsession.
But. This Edith is strong enough and smart enough to continually subvert the conditions and that’s actually pretty cool as a twist. The author as a character sucks and he’s boring so I hope we don’t see him as much of a story focus, but the concept is pretty cool! Creepy obsessed guy is the villain!

So… they all have issues or I’m the 🤪🤪 one.
Again… Ml is obsessed by his “stallion” status and sees her in a bad light (man eater) but still for the sake of his performance ratings he’ll bed her whenever he sees fit or throwing a tantrum.
Fl reasoning is out of this world for me. Says no to everything but says yes to S** every time… but doesn’t want to be seen as a lustful woman…
And for some reason, all this works in her favour …
Not talking about the weirdo setting the rules as he’s the least interesting of them
They are probably getting closer but it doesn’t translate in the dialogues at all imo. The drawings are doing all the job.

….I think the author is the sick person she met in the hospital….she never really experienced life so that’s why she has this distorted, fairytale, version of how people should act when they are in love or just in general….she also doesn’t want to main character to grow up because she never got too so she would rather everyone stay at peak “happiness”
