With all the chapters I read so far , I have have came to the same thoughts as Edith there is a big fish king controling the characters and making them do things against their own will. And now the cracks are slowly breaking, now Edith must is make another wise decision to make the small cracks break mush wider so that the end would be an end that the characters themselves can decide for themselves. And I will wait for next chapter with grace and patients. ☺️

Iirc his confession comes first before he ask for Edith forgiveness.. Like he realizes that he never ask for Edith’s forgiveness but she always treat him nicely so he unconsciously thought that they’re fine
