They all been mind control by the author. If the FL didn’t convince the ML I bet even the male lead would be in control by the author or in obsession with Lize just like clif. The author power influence their character to be who they aren’t. Just like how the ML got a weird voice in his head even clif probably got a weird voice in his head.
