I’m more satisfied here because Rize will be punished and the Duchess is very active with the punishment. In the novel she didn’t pay for her crimes and still able to marry Cliff, i’m also annoyed that Edith and Killeon was forced to attend their wedding.
I just hope Edith and Killeon’s life in their own estate in Ryzen will be detailed here even in the side stories ❤️

She was punished in the novel. But the moments when that came, it needs more years after execution day. Lise fallen to her despair because of her own foolishness. Personally, the ending of Lise in novel is more satisfying.

This scene is significantly worse than the novel, it actually didn’t make much sense at all. The novel’s way of being in the jail, and she was actually cut, figuring out how the knife was hers by feeling the cold dungeon vs. A warm knife, etc. shame they changed it,

@Simpin Slut I think given that Edith was able to successfully complete the conditions, the control of “Reese/OG author” in the plot of the story weakened. Now that she was able to also complete the last condition, I think no one has really control over the plot of the story anymore. I think it’s all gonna be a matter of survival of the fittest. Sooo we can expect or look forward for good justice!! Lol

Could FL really stay in the world if the author dies, tho? I know she needs to die, but what if she dies from old age in prison? Would it start over again? Or what if it starts over again, but the system chooses FL as protagonist? That would be f**ked up. I think the system just had 2nd ML syndrome like us and brought Edith so he could get his turn for a happy ending.
