Although, just like I forgave Killian for being controlled, I too can’t blame Cliff for being mind controlled too. When the author’s influence wears off Cliff regrets everything and tries to make amends.
It’s sweeter this way but Cliff proves to be a good man without the mind control. So for me, the endings in the novel and manhwa are bittersweet
I now checked the ending in both novels is nice but this one is better cause in the novel it’s unfair how reeze and cliff live their life happily ever after but the endings are both satisfying
