I’ve tried being a wee bit more just and jumped from scanlator to scanlator, but at the end of the day they all copy off each other and I just don’t have the time (I’ve set myself a time limit). Some of the better ones not only leave the watermarks but stamp the thumbnails with a sort of crest to acknowledge who actually did the scanlating.
This translation is bad. I’m willing to wait a little longer for a better translation. This feels like someone who just got their hands on the chapter but mtl-ed everything because they couldn’t wait. It also looks like they don’t have the photo editing skills to make it look nice either, or rushed it out because they couldn’t wait.
You can and should complain about bad, low effort translations like this that are clearly done by machine with no human oversight. I can and do support the actual authors when manhwas become available in my language as well because I like reading official translations, but they’re not always available in my language. “Translations” like this are so disrespectful to the original work.
