My problem with this route is that ‘Lizz’ a.k.a the original author still seems to have Cliff on her side. Which in the novel ending she’s lost all. So it’s annoying to see someone still bothering with ‘Lizz’. And here even the original Lizz who is innocent being punished wrongfully. While the fake still has Clif’s love even while she’s gone.
In that way the novel’s ending had a more satisfying end to Lizz although other characters like Clif got off easily.

I’m so glad they went with a dig ending cause I absolutely HATED the novel ending. I wish they made the father suffer more, but I’m glad the author got her ass beat. Idc what y’all say the novel is ass🤷

It was totally different from what I expected.
On one side, I’m glad they took a different route and gave Liz and Cliff the ending they deserve, but in my opinion, it would be nice if they followed the original script and provided a different route in the side story since Liz’s ending was so satisfying if you were a novel reader.
