@Januarymoonv same omg I wished Killian, the Duke and Duchess suffered a bit longer. Like make them wallow in despair and be disgusted with themselves for how they treated Edith longer. Yeah I yeah ik “they were controlled by the author” well idc lol.

I think the transition was sloppy and repetitive on information we’ve already BEEN knowing, but now it’s starting to get good again

I don’t know why people are hating on the book for going deeper into the story and exploring a new vein or prologue that hasn’t been done before. Istg it’s like this every time a book does something slightly different from status quo. You guys hate change but then will complain that a book has all the same cliches or is predictable or the same weak fl. Like pick a fucking struggle and stick with it ok.
