You can say she’s selfish or whatever, but she is thinking on how he is taking care of himself well and that the novel ends well. She knows all will be well in the end, and she does want to tell him things, but she knows she has no grounds of information to explain things- like, we saw how the Duke is only a bit sus to the empress because shes too perfect, but thats more of a slight dislike towards her then actual suspicion. MC thinks the Duke has no reason to believe her if she tells him the future events, and who can blame her for wanting to escape when she sees that the villains are interested in her and probably have it out for her.
Frankly, she’s doing pretty okay.

She’s the most selfish FL ever. She knows they are going to kill her husband but she stills want to flee without letting the ML anything. She can go coz she never wanted this but doing this without letting him know who is after his life. She is selfish.
