Tbh I don’t get it why y’all are yapping about, like what other choice she has? Without money, connections or a overpower benefit of reincarnation she doesn’t have any cards to play in this moment, she was already found by the duke, her father was gone and she didn’t have any knowledge about this world or her previous memories.
At this point it was negotiating with the duke(like she did) or marrying his shitty ass brother. If you expect an op and perfect FL slapping the face of every bitch that get on her way sorry but this isn’t it and frankly this is much more interesting for me than a dumb power fantasy.
Ofc this is just chapter 03 or 04, the author has plenty of space to fuck things up. Especially with the “love at first sight” trope that he seems to be using, but we have to wait and see.
