I can understand why she went back. Even though staying with the tiger king would be safer, running away from reality and her responsibilities is unbecoming of a Lady, especially in the era this manhwa takes place in. She probably thinks that running away would mean never seeing her two close friends again. Even though some may find her actions stupid and naive, I find them to be reasonable. Going back would also just build the story with more plot-twists, conflict, and potential growth of the female lead, for she might become stronger if faced with constant conflict.

Uuhhhh…given that this is a joseon era(?) and not a modern era which has a lot more complicated and have technology, in this situation that she knew she being looked down upon by other people and she could only rely on them to survive and she also got two people that she trust more than anyone before she even met with ml. And then theres assasinations going on in her own home and both of her trusted people were there, couldnt do anything and feel helpless. And yet she still bravely going back there just to make sure that they are okay and safe. And maybe in the future she will bring them to escape from that place???
