Dude, maybe youre watching too many sci-fi movies about aliens. Though, that was a pretty good guess.
In my op, this series is based off the world tree.

You see, our fl was used all her life. She wants revenge, and she’s on that path rn. So she’s trying to tie her loopholes from the og villainess wreaking havoc and after succesfully having her business prosper, then will she finally decided to save the world.
But, somethings not right.

If the world tree is really trying to use her and commands that body guard and Nyx to be by her side, then why bother using the tornado accident to kill her? The world tree couldve just sent Nyx to her and the problem would be done with without circling a full loop. Unless… Either Nyx is the evil thingy, or the world tree wants our fl to suffer(which has no reason to be whatsoever)

In my opinion this is a long story about depression. So far we have seen multiple signs of depression. Nyx may be a super natural entity feeding of her depression and or actually possessing her, but at the end of the day it is a story about neglect and depression. Two possibilities are likely:
1. She has been depressed since her mother’s death and her father’s neglect, and the trauma of the carriage accident tipped her over the edge. Recent events have snapped her out of it due to recognizing the novel events
2. She has been depressed and Nyx possessed her throughout the ten years by ejecting her soul temporarily and is no feeding off those emotions to try and possess her again.

Perhaps you are retarded or have dementia, her body literally possessed by the real “villainess” only recently she comes to this body again not to boot due to rumors and the real “villainess” past behavior she literally surrounded by evil energy as “nyx” said *sigh* this why reading comprehension is important.
