🔽 I agree 💯 My mom went through something similar as a child. Except my granny is a narcissist that favored her brother more. She was always told she was a failure despite winning academic awards. She never fully healed from it and it led to her falling for toxic men like my father. She’s still learning self-love, but has definitely improved over the years.

I know a lot of people hate the FL and keep saying that all she needs is to communicate her thoughts; although I somewhat agree, I still empathize with her. She reminds me of emo 13-year-old me, when I thought everyone hated me (I even considered that I may have been adopted) and wanted to run away. This manhwa is sort of healing my inner child by showing someone noticing how she feels without her having to communicate/express her thoughts and feelings first. I struggle with this, so it’s cathartic to see someone reach out to her, wanting to help and understand her. Thanks for listening to my rant lol.
