I think that people didn’t believe him in the past so he probably stopped talking about it OR think that they wouldn’t believe him

Either mc is dumb and couldn’t see how his power could benefit others or it’s the problem with the author’s writing. I just don’t understand why mc has to hide his ability. Author also didn’t justify the reason for that.

I can’t think why seeing the energy of the shards not a power. Thus he only think that an ability to attack shards is the only power type. Thus he not think that the ability to see energy is not also a super power. The MC is just retarded in thinking that and on top of that, he still wants to help? If he gives the exact location of the shards then hen can also help on that way. Anyways, this premise is still good. Lets read a few more chapters.

it just doesn’t make sense for mc to hide his ability in this situation seeing as how he obsessed with being a guard, but outside of this it is getting interesting
