idk what you mean by making the demons look human, they were only introduced at the end of season 1. You seem to be confusing demons with monsters. Looks like the author decided to take the story a little more serious for season 2 and added more races like elves, dragons, and demons.

Feels odd to suddenly make the Demons look human at this point. Especially considering they were already being labeled by concepts that threaten humanity.
Feels more like the author was just writing for the sake of writing and wrote himself into a wall due to his own worldbuilding. (Would’ve made more sense if the demon king were that little girl and was acting innocent to find her new greatest threat)
