I’m not really mad at him for taking the concubines, he was forced but I disliked he accepted the ones who were rude to her. He could have said no and picked someone else from influential families. And why let him marry a foreigner all to say they won’t their child be on the throne. Politicial marriages usually proceed like that, an exchange of power/resources. No one would send their princess off to be in a role of a concubine if it’s a super important exchange.
