I like this novel as it genuinely portrays historical facts about concubines and empresses. The concubines are there for strategic positioning and beneficial for an emperor with poor bloodline and support. In reality most of the concubines were just used and not loved. FL portrays a realistic woman and by no means naive as she is genuinely aware of any move from her can impact the emperor. All the other trope with FL having hidden powers are unrealistic.

Okay the comments I have been veiwing are very short minded. First of all she is an illegitimate child who has never had any power and still doesnt have power as this whole situation is a farce she was forced into. Second of all politics are hard I doubt any of us could even deem to understand the scope of what entails running an empire. im sure like in any sort of relationship comprimises have to be made even more so in royalty. Im honestly glad the fl is trying her best. Instead of whining and complaining. she is trying to muddle through this turbulent mess she was thrown into with grace.

The FL and ML looks the same in Royal Redemption manwha. The Hair and Eye color of the characters are the same.

He’s also dumb for not considering the powerful concubines+ their fams bullying her who’s alone from an enemy kingdom. It’s worse if she just 100% spills the tea and blindly trusts a person who’s still a stranger, considering she’s already being threatened by her “family”. Guys always get bitchy when they can’t get any. 🙄 If he is that naive and punishes her over no snu snu, he ain’t fit to rule a kingdom anyways.
