@Simpinslut umm yeah, her actions kind of seem reckless or stupid here but it’s actually just the manhwa… In the novel, Liarte is smart, calm and quite different so I’m really taken aback and I can’t help but make comparisons every chapter. I’m kind of disappointed coz the novel is such high quality with a smart, calm, collected fl, a sweet green flag ml and Carmen who has an amazing bond with Liarte but all of that is missing here (probably except the ml part).
Like in the novel, Liarte is actually always accompanied by Carmen, not Michael. She then tells Carmen she’ll try getting info out of Hans and when Hans tries to run towards Aaron, she stops him with her water abilities. He then tries to poison himself but she dispels the poison with her abilities. Also, while all this happens, Carmen is actually present in the room but in concealment.
So Liarte is pretty smart and capable but idk why they changed her character here. It’s nice that there are people who love and protect her but I don’t like how the manhwa portrays them as knights in shining armour who save the damsel in distress. In the novel, all three men are extremely protective of Liarte but she never gets herself in a situation where she needs to be saved in the first place. So they actually just try to protect her behind the scenes while she has the freedom to do whatever she wants.

The age gap may be smaller than we’re used to nowadays. Like if he had a son at 20 (or perhaps even younger) he’s like 40 now so it’s quite reasonable that he doesn’t look old. That would place grandpa at about 60 and it definitely matches their appearances
