Not different and she actually didn’t “read” a novel she’s Both reincarnated and regressor. She didn’t posses Judith, she reincarnated into Judith the “novel” she read wasn’t real it’s actually her previous life she forgot most of it/her memories became blurred. As we seen in chapter 104-105 she didn’t die from accident, she died of old age and reincarnated into a baby.
From time to time she would remember her “past” she saved Luca from previous life here actually referring to one dream she had about from previous chapter (I don’t remember exactly which chapter) her being abducted by franz and interrogated by franz about something regarding Luca and she refused to answer him prompting her to get killed by franz.
The other thing that she got confused in her memories also explained in this chapter and previous chapter, in the “novel” that she read she remember Judith hate Luca because he doesn’t resemble her but her sister and that makes Judith jealous which not correct. Judith actually starting to hates Luca because he remind her of Jonah winterwald (Luca’s father) the one that ruin her sister’s life. Although she didn’t neglected Luca at this point, she starting to distance herself from luca.

I guess we are getting details that the novel didn’t touch on. Same with the part of Ruidger sacrificing himself for his nephew. We learn later that he did not do it out of love, but solely as his duty, and Luka resented him for it. I guess OG/Book Judith pretended to love money and took bribes on the surface, but in actuality, was working to protect Luka by trying to derail Franz’s schemes, and in the end, it cost her her life.
