Right I agree with you , the story is interfering too much with the characters and not allowing her any growth. I wish it could lose some of its power like they do in “I Thought It’s a Common Possession”

Its kinda sad in a way. She really is introspective and smart enough to know she might be in the wrong but the STORY ITSELF is keeping her in this destructive state.
Like this scene shows she would have a revelation to be a different(better) person and the world has to erase a whole conversation from two people who aren’t our leads to keep things on track.
Not saying i like her, but it is sorta pathetic in a way.
