The logic they cannot use magic without a tower is retarded. Feels like a forced plot to make sure she is a pathetic and weak damsel when not near one.

@BibbiQueen yeah same, although I’m into games… MAybe it’s also the translation’s fault a bit. From what I gather, towers appear randomly throughout the world, which give way to powerful beasts being inside the tower and roaming free outside the tower as well – the power of these monsters varies based on the level of each tower – as to how they are able to tell which level the tower is when looking at it is unknown to me. Each tower also generates a sort of magic field around it – which strengthens the magic of the sorcerrers I think?
Someone correct me or add on more info if you’re reading this please
