I honestly don’t feel this, there was no real build and it didn’t feel romantic either, honestly think she should just marry the guy who truly loved her from her own kingdom. Stupid that they forced the romance so hard.

@bias_manga That is the point she doesn’t know, from her perspective all she did to her brother was putting his life on danger due to her supporters/empress(her mother) wanting to put her on the throne(side tangent Imo the Empress was probably the one responsible for the rebellion that almost kill her brother, because she knew that Adelaine could never do it). All of her life could be summarized in one big sacrifice to save her people and fulfilled her duty as a royal. And all she get after everything she did was being sent away as a priz, I mean bribe, for an absolute failure of a man. There are people trying to bring her down at every corner, assassins trying to take her life and her sense of duty and justice always leading her into trouble.
It is no wonder that she is contemplating suicide, I just wish that the story spend more time exploring her mental state instead of developing such a bland romance between her and the male lead(or at least tried to make it better).
