@darnezz not really. The knight has the authority of the Grand Duke and his job is to protect his masters, including FL who will be the duchess.
By himself, sure he can be stepped on, but as protector he can deal with the threat from anyone.

@LilyRowe the knight has no authority to stop a noble. He may be the Grand Duke’s knight, and THe Grand Duke may be the second highest ranking noble in the Empire, but still, he is just a knight, and not a noble. In the end, even a Baron can step on him, because he is just a knight.
