– Perez & Sushou foreshadowing that they are allies.
– Perez favored the Brown’s (Ramona’s family coz the Empress staged something to annihilate her family).
– Sushou’s father is a student of Ramona’s Grandpa in sword fighting (Brown’s are known for their sword fighting technique, it is their technique that the empire’s knights are using)
– Backstory:
Back when Perez was still scrawny and starting to learn after meeting Tia. Remember the book she left him on the starting chapters? It was the Brown’s secret sword technique family heirloom book type of thing. Sushou was Perez sword fighting instructor (as far as I read in the novel). Perez gave it to Sushou after Tia’s instruction to give it to him so Sushou will help him in the future.
– The help Perez got is Sushou helping the Empress with money and gain all the Brown’s previous land properties, that was stolen by the Angena’s over the years, which was the compensation if the money wasn’t paid back.
– The Angena’s weren’t able to pay it back immediately as Sushou requested, thus making it legally transferred as Sushou’s property.
– This was revealed on By The Order court (nobles table not touched by the royal family.)
– It was the task by her Grandpa. For her to handle to put back the Brown’s family name back in the noble’s family line (forgot if it was the task as being the proxy Lombardi representative or the first task being the official Matriarch of Lombardi)
~It was such a great scene. I hope the artist do justice of the next upcoming scenes.
