I know Perez is ML and all and readers often overlook certain behaviours because we love our leads, but Perez assaulting that doctor or attendant (or whoever he was) was kind of sh*tty. The guy was just telling ML to rest and even helping him up. Perez didn’t need to grab his collar and threaten him. (The threat was implied by the text. The text was dark. It implies what Perez said had some threat behind it. I have to say this because people are going to argue there was no threat, but the colour of the speech clearly showed that the words being spoken had a bit of gravity behind them. It feels like a threat.) He already told Perez that Tia was just in the next room. Why grab his collar? He probably would have just led Perez there if he just asked.
That was some sh*tty behaviour to someone who didn’t deserve it. I’m not going to overlook this.

I think that Seshou guy is an ally of the Prince. (For got the names so I said “I think”). Reason why he didn’t finish the Prince. Battle of Powers, Empress will try to fight but Tia will require the money payment the Empress owed Tia’s company. Seshou will also require payment the Empress owed him. Revealing his connection to Perez was a plan all along. This will shock Tia. I think this will happen on the Council Table where Tia has been revealed to be the Lombardi’s heir. The Empress was taken to jail. Her brother was spared but all their assets were taken. (Probably, a long time since I read the novel so there are lapses.) I think that was the time there was a celebration in Lombardi house. Her maternal Grandma came along with her 2 cousins, 1 boy & 1 girl. Perez will update the rule that women can be the leader of the estate while being married to royalty or being a Queen.
