Why do you need to destroy the world first and then do good things while disguising them as evil ones in the second time? This only makes sense if the world is just a game for someone to entertain themself.

Frey’s system requires him to do good things while disguising them as evil ones. The more evil they seem or the more good they secretly achieve, the more points he earns. The amount of points in the novel weren’t always consistent so it’s more of a plot device for the author to make Frey stronger. Also, dark magic like the type Kania has is outlawed in the kingdom as it directly opposes the Sun god (main religion of the kingdom). It also slowly eats away at her life force. The reason behind this will (hopefully) be covered later.
