I really like the art as a novel reader. Also, i think ít kinda wrong to badmouth this. Cus any adaptations has its limitations so i kinda see it as its own thing. If you even remotely like the plot, go read the novel! The novel goes more serious, indept and if you like details, it ll give u a better read.

Since Frey needs to transfer life force to Kania to keep her healthy, he ends up in a weakened state after doing so. That’s why he coughed up blood.
We have two new characters who weren’t at all explained so I will.
Ferloche (silver haired girl): Ferloche is the Saintess of the Sun God’s church. Because of this, she has immense abilities granted to her by the Sun God. She would be the most dangerous person to Frey if she wasn’t an idiot. In the novel, I believe her intelligence stat was something like 1.3, which is explained to be hilariously low.
Isoret (Isolet in the novel, teacher with brown hair and glasses): She is the descendant of the sword saint who fought along side the hero. She is not a main heroine, but more of a sub-heroine so she does not retain her memories. She is like an older sister character to Frey and believes she can change his ways.
