The brooch Fry wears does not enhance his abilities. Frey is incredibly strong as the hero and can beat most enemies below the strength of the demon king. In the novel, most of his abilities are marked as ??? and are likely above human limits. The only visible stat is mental fortitude, which is 9.2 . The brooch simply let’s out dark mana (which as a reminder is illegal) so he would be caught and could disguise his true abilities. Frey in a previous chapter got an ability to see the emotional state of others. Frey is concerned by Isoret’s emotions towards him, as they still show she is looking for good in him (which is really dangerous for him). Also, Frey really likes animals, especially cats, as he does not need to act evil around them. So he really likes that cat doll.
