   What’s frustrating is she assumes everything and sabotages her chances. She knew what could happen given her glimpses of the “future”, but didn’t do anything to help her case. She didn’t allow herself to learn how Calix feels or at least investigate for any clarification. She just assumed. Err

   Okay, this is a guess, not a spoiler. Lotty is the real saintess and the Gods/angels sent visions to Laure of the novel plot and dreams of abandonment. These visions were all an effort to protect Lotty until she’s older from the fake saintess Thea/Sea who is a magician/sorcerer summoning demons. I read too much manga and manhwa
