Don’t you think that the original iteration was also kind of a manipulated scenario? I mean Bianca never really made any effort to chnge the rumors about herself and Maria just manipulated that fact and made Bianca out to be a villainess. Ricardo, who was desperate to find a kind and loving wife, was very easily fooled by Maria with her manipulative nature. The whole thing about Maria’s tea being poisoned might very well be a ploy by Maria herself to get rid of Bianca who never really sucumbed to the pressure she was desperately creating.

I hate ML even more now. He said that he’d break off the engagement if HE had another woman. I don’t know what the writer’s intentions is behind that statement or behind this scene but it makes him come off as a selfish prick. So yeah f*ck that guy.

But anyway does anyone have any insight? Does the book (or whomever sent the book) hate MC or something? Or does it not actually tell the future at all and is just messing with her? Or is it like some curse that follows her around and that’s why she can’t destroy it?
