@Mochii. I never said it wasn’t his job to protect the kingdom. Stop putting words in other people’s mouth. Obviously it’s his job, he’s a duke who enjoy certain privileges and for that he has a certain responsibility.
I said that unlike the author I’m able to think from both sides of the conflict. War is wrong on either side. The point I made was that he went to war and killed people. And that since we don’t know the lore or culture of this world, both sides are wrong for participating in war. One manhwa that presented war was wrong from both sides and that neither one had the higher ground was Bring The Love. It showed that war was unjustified on both sides. Instead in this story, we are only given one side and are supposed to childishly believe everything the other side did is wrong and everything our characters do is right.
The reason why you probably think the other side is wrong is because you are only seeing it from the main characters’s perspective. If you take any higher level learning course they teach you to examine things from many other perspectives. It teaches you to look away from the author’s bias and see how things are.
But anyway thanks for telling me you are a child without actually saying it.
Also, your reading comprehension could use some work. I never said FL was a murderer; I said ML was.

Nobody claimed she was a perfect person. You’re just putting words in other people’s mouths. Nobody is claiming she is perfect, but I think a lot of us can see that for all her imperfections she’s still better than ML. She deserves better than ML.
You claim she’s a b**** but she’s still better than him. He’s a killer. He went to war and killed the enemy. He killed PEOPLE. It doesn’t matter if they’re the “enemy”. He’s the one that actually killed people. We the readers don’t know their ideals, but it doesn’t matter because we’re modern people who KNOW that war is hell. We’re not on his country’s side or the other country’s side, so we can judge both sides to be in the wrong. There is no right ideal here because the war was between people and not demons or some unknown supernatural entity.
If you call her a b**** then I hope with the same breath you call him a murderer. I know which one is worse.

Have you guys not been reading the same story I’ve been reading? She’s known since she’s realized that the book was telling the truth that he hasn’t been treating her well. She’s been trying to change things so that she doesn’t get killed. The thing is neither one of these two were all that great of people to each other. She’s stuck up and full of herself, no she wasn’t mean to people, but she also didn’t go out of her way to be nice either. And he although nice to others never took the time to learn about her. So stop acting like she was this perfect person and he was just an ahole. She was a b to people and never thought twice about others.

So she realised she was treated poorly by him before and all it took was a smile from him to make her forget about all that? This is why I hate stupid FLs: they have no self-preservation instincts. His smile won’t erase her pain, and she obviously found his past treatment of her painful because she said it outright.
