I’d really prefer the prince to be the ML. The priest doesn’t convince me because there’s just no romantic energy or even romantic interest between them. I don’t like Richard because he’s obsessed to the point where he only hears what he wants and completely ignores the FL. Meanwhile, the prince could very well develop feelings for the FL, because all their interactions so far have felt natural and not forced. The problem is the prince’s fiancée—I like her and I think she’s a good character, but why couldn’t she just be a friend instead of the prince’s fiancée? 🙁
