@Yohrika You’re ignoring the very basic premise of the story – FL isn’t the one who married the Emperor. She transmigrated into the body of the Empress after they were already married. She had no say in the contract, nor accepting the marriage in the first place. The Emperor still emotionally abused the Empress for 3 years, and only wants to keep her for political reasons – even when FL first demanded a divorce after the transmigration, he didn’t deny her out of love, but because he wanted her as an “Ally” (or political tool). It’s only as her schemes kept panning out for the best (often out of sheer luck) that he started getting interested in her as a person. Emperor is still absolute trash.

Ugh… I’m getting tired of the comments lol… FL married knowing damn well there be no love feeling.. As ML mentioned earlier about contract, how he hasn’t kiss or touched anyone, neither the FL or the trashed evil bich… so chill and give ML time to show his true feeling…
