@Spaghetti_hair yep, perfect summary. I’m just amazed that all of the “bad guy” characters think their ideas are actually good 🙄

Give me a moment to wrap my head around this. So Jellard’s brothers decided it would be the best option to spread the truth that Veillyn was locked up in the attic and exaggerate them (etelina did, of course), and she would gradually fall into their hands because she would have no one else to turn to. Nellan comes in trying to tell Veillyn that Midnight was a traitor(?) and because Veillyn went to check out why Midnight had slipped into Archduke Liesestein’s room (ugh, fls these days) by herself and Midnight took the opportunity to entitle Veillyn as a “traitor”. Veillyn is under house arrest in the attic and her illness has gotten worse ( judging by her face), at the same time these rumors spread which makes it hard for Archduke Lielsestein to believe Veillyn and the only thing he can grasp arround to prove Veillyn’s innocence is because she is “in love” with Jellard. Veillyn makes an idiotic inference that Jellard might now be suspicious of her and believes nobody is on her side anymore. The Orlandos decide that since they are just spreading the truth about Veillyn being in the attic, Etelina convincing them that they are not at fault since Veillyn was “paying for her mother’s sins” and decide to make matters worse for Veillyn. Nellan appears to Veillyn and tries to console her, attempting to manipulate her into killing Jellard since he has a personal grudge against him. Archduke Lielsestein comes in to clear up misunderstandings and Jellard’s brothers engage in their plan, claiming that Jellard seeked help from an old friend of theirs about the engagement contract and Veillyn believes them (*Sigh* How gullible people are). She thinks that Jellard is trying to break the engagement contract and she will get sent back to the Orlandos (Or hell, I’d say).
