The point is that him being betrayed and losing influence happens in the novel, and by preventing that, she wants him to owe her a favor. Then she can use that to stop him from killing her in the future if she needs to. It’s a good plan. He’s just not cooperating lol.

I find her truly pathetic for trying to seek that bastard out to help him. If he lost military power then he would have no time to exact any revenge on her.. I swear this chicks that reincarnate into stories really are dull
