The mental, emotional, and physical trauma accumulated and then trapped in a high stress environment where he was constantly struggling in life and death situations on repeat.
He was already put in a situation where he couldn’t believe that his parents loved him and he constantly saw how his brother was always treated better than him.
Add in how he was treated like he was useless and that nobody expected anything of him, even when he was trying his best to be accepted and valued.
He snapped and when he finally asked for help he was attacked which just further convinced him that he was never loved.
I don’t feel sorry for his family after all they did that to him, he is the result of everything that they said and did or didn’t say or do to him.
