You don’t know the half of it. I read the spoilers and this is going to be a frustrating read. It’s the kind of manhwa that’s best to stack chapters.

Is og Elodie the villainess only because she opposed the og heroine? Og Elodie didn’t seem that bad. The story said she spent the money on trying to find a cure for her disease. She made medicine/potions and disposed of them in the lake but that’s a common thing to do at the time and even today. Sorry to say but outside of cities and in rural places that’s still pretty common thing to do. She also didn’t know it would react badly with the lake, becoming a poison to it. And she spent money trying to find a cure because she didn’t want to die. ML didn’t want to die so he went off to war, where he killed people. I know they were the enemy but if we were to put this OBJECTIVELY then killing someone (even someone you don’t know and also didn’t have a choice to go to war like you did) is WAY WORSE than poisoning a lake. Also og FL was cosying up to someone else’s husband. Adultery is also immoral. So basically none of the og characters were good.
