Why is that princess being praised? She didn’t even DO anything. She ran away and gave ML info on the king, but we (the readers) know that ML would he won the war eventually.
People do deserve praise when they’re helping, but that princess was the one being helped. She benefitted in a lot of ways for what little she actually did.
