Umbrella.
Bruh, he could’ve just met her once in person instead to understand her personality and motives for investing and selling land. He’s saying all that, yet weren’t there other investors he said yes to before hand? Girly had to disguise herself and had to lie to him (a DUKE) and risk getting caught (and possibly executed) to get a chance for the investment (and for the sake of her family). I’d still punch him in the face regardless of his reasoning. HE COULD’VE GONE ABOUT THIS A DIFFERENT WAY😭

So basically he judged her because she sells land for money whereas he had to obtain it through bloodshed? This doesn’t hide his discrimination. Did he even bother to understand why? I already thought it was disrespectful when he asked for their land (laid it aside since they might’ve ‘negotiated’ a fair deal), but that’s what makes this statement even more appalling. All that happened was really, just him changing face since he fell for a girl with a unique charm (that was different from her sisters). 😑😑😑

That would be a good start for both of you.

@SimpinSlut I think the problem here is the lack of early development, he probably had reasonable movitations to treat her the way he did(like suspecting she was using bussiness as an excuse to get close to him to propose, having doubts about her skills due to her farther bad track record and etc). The scenes of them negotiating and going hunting together should work to clear these misconceptions and build up their relationship, but again, it happened too fast.

Now he’s nice?
