For someone who lives for a long time and been reincarnated for another chance of life, someone who annex an empire to become one herself, she’s such a failure. Simple matters like overseeing her own people’s nature and thoughts regarding political affairs is one of the emperor’s job and must have trait for one. Yet, this scene here, just to cause problem for mc, the author make the empress look so stupid and cause a SIMPLE mistake that can easily perceive by her subjects as something else. Which is the case here, causing misunderstanding over her stance against the chu family and have the chus’ to be targeted by her subjects to earn their MERITS…
Not that I criticize the author for this, just making a point of how things are getting too forceful to have an opponent deliver themselves at MC’s doorstep…
