It IS easy for to say that you love her now after cheating, i would feel bad for that cheater if she hasn’t gone for a married Man the Duke abandoned her so fast guy can’t even take responsibility for what he did

The father cheated and this was kept from all the sons. So the sons (except for one) all blame her for getting the mother divorced. Male ego. Anyone with common sense would know if the mother wanted a divorce why is that? What did the father do. The son then cheats on his wife and STILL thinks he’s allowed to do all this. The father is a coward, he wants to keep his reputation so he never reveals the truth. The son is a coward thinking he can be excused if he says but I still love you. Deep down it’s all about reputation. He saw her bleed from the mouth and suddenly he cares? No. It’s self preservation, subconsciously he knows if anything happens to the divorced woman he’ll get backlash with people thinking he abandoned his dying wife and divorced her while frolicking around with a mistress. He’s acting like he’s puppy in love. He said he loves his mistress, look he’s not even bothering to look at the mistress anymore. I don’t blame the mistress, she’s not innocent at all, but hey everyone wants a chance at winning the lottery, this was her lottery to get out of poverty, what the hell is his excuse? No misunderstanding excuses cheating.
