I have a theory. The father is a peice of shit, otherwise it makes no sense for a mere courtesan to kill the rightful duchess. The son when he was a kid had to make a choice, save the mother or sister, and the moment he made a choice, PROBABLY simething inside him snapped so maaaaaaybe he used to be a bunny but now he’s a wolf, but he doesn’t wanna scare his one and only family (cause the father is .sure as hell not family if he’s gonna let the duchess be tortured by his courtesan)…… I’m just guessing. Maybe he wanted his sister to be the head of the family all along.
