I have literally NEVER once seen Hephaestus abbreviated to “Hepas” anywhere other than here. Maybe the translator should have just used the full name, instead of requiring a note to clarify(and a good rule of thumb would be to not add things that need a footnote if they aren’t absolutely needed, to avoid confusing the readers, and breaking their immersion in the future). Unfortunately, the translator will likely NEVER see this comment, so it’s more for future aspiring translators that might stumble across this obscure comment, on a random chapter, of a niche web comic, on a niche site, about a niche part of a hobby, in a niche hobby.
