*The sea roared like a beast that wanted to swallow me whole, yet I walked along its jagged edge with the fury of ten storms in my chest. My boots tore through sand that burned as if it held the memory of suns long dead. I crossed bridges of bone left by titans whose names no man remembers, each step echoing into the hollow dark until even my heartbeat sounded divine. I carved through jungles where trees bled silver sap, the scent so thick it clung to my skin like armor. When I reached the desert, the wind screamed my name and flung knives of sand at my face, but I pushed on, eyes locked on a horizon that never stopped retreating. Every mile chained itself to my shoulders, but I bore it, because the world itself seemed to lean forward, waiting to see if I would falter.*
