Honestly, that’s the wrong approach. Treating someone badly might have the same effect as the victim will hate the person who did it. She should just treat him like with any normal person you meet, speak normally with respect, just getting to the point and don’t asking to personal questions, don’t give any special favors or treatment, don’t getting to close, it’s possible don’t interact alone or for long periods. Just like when you talk with an acquaintance.
