   For those who are confused, I think when they mention “The Empress” and the other “The Empress”. I’m pretty sure they are referring to, not a concubine of the Emperor, but the mother of the Emperor. There’s really not much a way the translation team could have mixed up Concubine and Empress easily but I can definitely “The Queen” and “Her Majesty” being swapped and messed up because they play practically the same role.

   i think the’q the first with and the legitimate empress but a concubine is favored by the emperor and the empress had to step back in some way politically or somthing like that, like a typical fight in royal family

   I’m confused. Is that the empress (which doesn’t really make sense based on some sentences) or did they mean she’s like a royal consort aka 2nd wife of the emperor?
