I haven’t read the LN if there was and this is just a theory, a speculation that the conversation at the QUIET PLACE was her offereing marriage to the older brother doesn’t matter if its a contract one but she needs help.
Little blonde brother will surely be surprised when he sees his older brother at the meeting.

She should’ve had someone tail the EXs ass so she has proof of his shadiness (the cheating, the connection to that driver, etc)
I would also move the parents to a safe place..After getting her killed in the previous life I’m assuming the worst from 🤏..I’m having this weird feeling that he was involved in her family’s accident.
Also, I’m an evil one..I would’ve slapped him to Mars and back in my “mourning state” and blame it on shock only to ask for a hot coffee to calm my nerves that would be spilled “due to” trembling hands on his dingy. No way they can play house 5 years on after all he’s done to me.
My guess is that she pulled the brother to the quite room to propose marriage/alliance in taking the cheater down & probably invited the ex so he can see that he’s been replaced. The brother will represent her at that meeting.
I would’ve liked this series more if she didn’t show her feelings so much on her face..Play the poisonous flower or the confident b but never show your true emotions, that’s a weekness your enemy can take advantage of. Even if you’re burning on the inside, on the outside you should look composed.

@EMINENCE Still at the beginning of her second life journey, but the FL’s actions are getting more and more stupid. She didn’t slap that cheater’s face (so unsatisfying!) or, as a first thing to do, get a photo of him cheating and slap the picture to his face. But it didn’t happen. That part where the b*stard is always in control, threatening her, and her reactions make her look like a loser.🙄🙄
