Ok I get tht he treats her like a scumbag to pretend there but he cud atleast show a bit of care in this scene when no one is there but also is it just me or does he seem scared like rlly scared maybe cuz of wht the 2nd prince said to him like he has eyes everywhere and he’s worried but idk maybe I’m reaching and is just treating her shit for no reason 😃

I never understood why the father was like that until i read the comments. so he did what he did to protect his daughter,.,. but that meeting he could have shown at least some interest on how she is fairing… shame

Wow so the comments are full of people who clearly didn’t pay attention. He’s not ignoring his daughter because he wants to, he risks looking like an asshole who doesn’t care to PROTECT her from the second prince. Because y’all obviously missed the WHOLE part where the prince wants to use any weakness of Arno and Blanchefort to tear them apart. It was last fucking chapter, ffs. If he pretends he has no attachment, his enemies won’t be interested in harming her because of him. That’s the point. And it’s obvious he still cares by his reaction when he saw her again. Way to miss the story progression and obvious details, I guess….
