Apart from cases of Royalty or where a bride would have to leave a country as a political marriage the norm was for a long engagement through childhood which was then consumated as the bride came of age. The story here is relating to a COUNT (assuming the translator is correct – often see titles of nobility getting very wishy-washy in Manwha’s). Count is pretty much the 2nd lowest rank of nobility. It would be much more uncommon for such a marriage between a child and an adult for such a low ranking noble.
The story is also revolving around the apparent idea that if a husband died without an heir, the wife would be thrown out. Again, Korean manwha writers seem to think of this as Korean nobility whilst stealing Western nobility titles and setting. As the first wife of a Count, the FL is not the “Count’s Wife” as the soldiers so rudely called her – she is the *COUNTESS*. If the Count dies without an heir, she would still be the COUNTESS and would have ownership of the land. Normally a male relative or retainer would then manage the estate under her name and it would be subsumed into their territory – it was kinda the point of political marriages.
So yes, you could make the argument for historical norms for the age difference and the child bride, but for a Count it would be a) not the norm, especially as the technology shown is actually closer to 18th century, if not early 19th century [but Manwhas are really bad with this, as they often show running water, iceboxes and the like, but then have all combat with swords and shields despite combat being pike and shot by that time period – they seem to want to have their cake an eat it, but having the nobility act like they were in the 15th/16th Centuries, but having some of the technology and “conveniences” of life like it was the 18th/19th Centuries] and b) the premise of the story so far seems to ignore the whole rules of succession with her being “kicked out” if she doesn’t have an heir. Even if the Pedo Count had a younger brother and the monarch dictated that he needed to inherit it to maintain the army (as apparently this COUNT – a fucking COUNT – is in charge of the army for some reason) she would still be the Dowager Countess and maintained in the estate, but normally she would just rule the territory as the Countess.

1. Get married early. Its possible for some parents in the 17th century to arrange marriage between families even before the child was born. Isabella of Valois got married at 7.
2. Wanted to produce an heir is also one of the cultural norms before. Some historical figures got pregnant at 16, sometimes, as it was considered to be “the ripe age for the marriage to be consummated”
